The Global Sustainable Development agenda to recycle, reclaim and re-use demolition materials is one which Wring Group wholeheartedly embraces. By investing in the most up to date recycling equipment our waste management and recycling operations can be undertaken in even the most sensitive of residential areas.
We aim to recycle over 80% of the materials from any site we are working on, either at site or through one of the many contracts we undertake.
By recovering and recycling all types of construction materials from wood to concrete, we are able to avoid all but the most essential use of landfill; hardcore is crushed into different grades of aggregate on site, for reuse in the construction industry; materials are screened and sorted into graded aggregates; metal and timbers are processed, screened and segregated; bulky materials are removed mechanically.
Our licensed Waste Management Recycling Facility includes a facility to store hazardous substances such as asbestos, batteries, fluorescent tubes ...etc. We also mix lightly contaminated materials with clean, inert materials to reduce trigger levels.
